Castings support better in grit applications and are a more economical material than steel while having a steel outer plate adds strength and versatility to the chain. This is because the steel used with the cast composite chain has good properties and is easy to weld. Our cast combination chains use high-strength heat-treated steel pins, heat-treated steel side plates, and premium high-strength cast internal links. Typical applications for foundry combination chains include gravel conveying, forestry processing, grain handling, lifting applications, and other conveying applications.
